The Past Year

Well, it has almost been a year since we moved back to Utah. I have not thought it was a bad idea once in the past year. Willie, the kids, and I have grown so much in the past year. We are all a lot happier here in Vernal. Willie and I felt in Arizona like something was missing and we now know what that was. We where missing the quality time of just hanging out with the extended families here in Utah. We both grew up fishing and hiking and camping for just never where able to do those things with our kids in Arizona. But things have so changed. Spring is here again and today we said lets go for a picnic. We got some sandwich stuff together and some chips, water and off we went. about 20 minutes later and we had this view.

We had a lot of fun just eating lunch next to a lake and letting the kids have some time in the outdoors. It is so nice living so close that we can just do these short afternoon trips. I truly missed going to the mountains.

We are so happy here, and with the changes we have made in our life.

My Theme Songs.

I really like Jo Dee Messina's music. For the past 4 or 5 years my theme song as been "Bring On The Rain", for things that have happened. I found the video on Youtube tonight.

But for things that are going on right now my theme song lately has been "My give a damns busted". Found the video for that one too. Enjoy!

My Marybeth

Today I was cleaning out our van. The kitten thought I needed some help. Anyway while cleaning the van I found a bag that I had been missing one trip after Walmart. It had 2 jump ropes and some bubbles in it. (Yes the very back of my van had that much crap in it. I think it has been since before Christmas that I have really cleaned it out. Its been cold! Still getting use to it.) I gave the girls their jump ropes which they where very excited about.

I saw Marybeth swing hers over her head after awhile of using it for jumping. I asked her what game she was playing and the response was priceless. Well worth the dollar I paid on the jump rope. She told me "I am using it to round up all the cows, and horses... oh and zebras." I could not help but laugh. For those of you who don't get to spend much time around Marybeth she loves horses and loves the cowgirl clothing at the western store. So the horse and cow part of the statement was not surprising to me. It was the zebra part that she threw in too. Just thought I would tell everyone about my Marybeth.
