School

I took this picture this morning in front of the school. Today we registered John for Kindergarten. He was pretty excited, if you couldn't tell. One more child is off to school this fall. It is weird to think that in a year all 4 kids will be in school, 2 more and it will be all day.

Thinking of that brings a bunch of concerns as far as Taylor goes. I just pray that with the therapy she is in right now she will be ready to go to school. They said today that if you felt like your child was not ready to keep them at home one more year. I am not worried about that as far as John goes. They said there are a few things that they need to know before they start school. How to count at least up to 5 but 10 would be better. At 3 John was counting to 15. They need to be able to look at 10 letters upper or lower case and tell the teacher what it is. Again no problem there. He has been doing that since last summer. Also they need to know the 4 basic shapes. Which again is no problem. The other day we where driving home and he points out the window and says "Mom, and octagon!" I said "Really where did you see that?" He said "The stop sign is one!" So I am really excited about John going into school. He will do great.
